History of Danduros

Danduros was officially formed on 1 January 2017. However, the spirit of freedom and personal sovereignty that led to the official declaration of independence began several years prior. The royal family discussed at length the various government types and determined that a parliamentary monarchy would best serve the people of Danduros. The royal family also chose to declare themselves Grand Duke and Grand Duchess as opposed to King and Queen.

The original territory of the Grand Duchy consisted of the property owned by the royal family. Once the nation was established, close friends and family members were invited to join the nation and have their own properties added to the territories of the nation. At the time of this writing the Grand Duchy of Danduros has territories bordered by the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
